Mining and Yellow Plant
MIG Mining delivers contract mining, open-cast production and bulk earthworks services to coal, platinum and chrome producers. Operating from eMalahleni — within 30 minutes of more than 50 operating mines — MIG replaces 2–4 hour Gauteng mobilisations with rapid, mine-site-ready response.
- Contract mining & open-cast production — full load-and-haul production contracts, pit development and overburden removal.
- Bulk earthworks & site preparation — box cuts, haul roads, terraces, dams and civils support.
- Yellow plant & equipment hire — wet or dry hire with experienced operators and OEM-grade maintenance.
- Drill-and-mine integration — exploration drilling, blast-hole support and grade control in one programme.
Mine rehabilitation & closure — reshaping, re-soiling, revegetation and post-closure monitoring.
